SPY REPORT
Oh, look! You're back! Surprise! Surprise! I knew you couldn't stay away from The
Spire. It is the most happening no tourney arena in the land, and in my unbiased
opinion, the best arena that Alastari has to offer. Are we in Alastari? I don't pay
too much attention to silly things like borders, politics, and those "DO NOT REMOVE"
tags on mattresses. Wherever we are located on Ghea . . . it is the best place to be!
Let's see what happened here today.
Our last two Duelmasters were repeat title holders before being invited to the Isle.
We witnessed Wilhelm Grimm fight his last today so onto a new champion! Gayne slips
into the title in the most commanding way possible. He kills Inebriation's Hamm in a
4-minute random match-up. Gayne becomes our Duelmaster by having the most recognition
points. He is also our Popularity Leader and the Most Popular warrior this turn. In
fact, Gayne did not leave any individual warrior awards for any others in the arena!
I'm not sure if I should call him rude or just be impressed. It can be both, can't
it?
Hamm wasn't the only one to meet a grisly end today. Urmar, who also got an invite to
the Isle, chose to challenge the Dark Arena on his way out. It was Black Orc who met
the untimely fate though, so good on LP Urmar for leaving with a memorable fight. Big
Lake Solution lost Barq Bite to Darque Ages. This is only relevant to our report
because Big Lake just had a bloodfeud expire against Darque Ages. It now begins anew.
There were also a few normal Dark Arena deaths to round out the turn.
It looks like Childhood Heroes' warrior, Wonder Woman, is our most challenged warrior.
She didn't even get challenged by any warriors but randomly matched up with Tankera.
WW fell to the Wicked Martyrs' fighter in 1-minute. With 9 avoids against them,
Literate Loons wins the distinction of being the Most Avoided team. The Church mostly
avoided them, and I bet there is a great joke somewhere in the lines I just penned!
Let's see, what else happened today? The Church dropped from the top of the rankings
and was replaced by Darque Ages. We are still missing Toilet Paper from the previous
turn, and now, Pray the Gods is missing. We did welcome Demonic Chili's back to the
arena, but all full stables are always welcome in The Spire.
And, we are going to call that a complete report. I'm sure there is juicy gossip to
be learned in the arena. You can't hear it by sitting here and listening to me! Get
out there and mingle, ya bums! It will be nice to see some of you next time. I won't
bother telling you which ones. You can figure out if you are on my April Fool's
mailing list after the tournament. Yes, there is a tournament happening this week
too. We don't partake here in The Spire, but we still admire it from afar! Good luck
to everyone participating - just won't be from here, or Seam, or Telorinthe, or Storm
