Notes from the arena champ.

I appreciate you guys throwing warriors with losing records at me. Makes defending the
throne that much easier.

And, is that my name I see plastered all over the front page of the newsletter? This
week's favorite, overall popularity leader, recognition leader, and Duelmaster? I
think a statue is in order. Who knew that the end of the road could be so popular!

SPY REPORT

Hail and well met warriors of RIZTAB! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. HMMM caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as it skillfully bested SADE and was awarded 17 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, HMMM put down SADE, causing
him to lose 2 points of recognition in the process. This time victory fell to the
grasp of the usurper. All hail ROUSSEAU, Duelmaster of RIZTAB! Informants "close"
to the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on beneath
his armor. Watch out!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In RIZTAB "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins. In the arena
there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in RIZTAB as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN PITTSBURGH!
