                             Notes from the arena champ.

It only took 42 fights but people like me age like fine wine whilst others age like 
soft cheese.  I fought Minor who, speaking of aging, puts me to shame.  It's not like 
I don't already know him.  Over the years, we've faced one another across the sands 
nine times now.  Back in the day, he crushed me, winning the first four of those 
matches. But, perhaps like soft cheese, his aging didn't go as well.  I have managed 
the win for the last five matches.

I'm challenging Satan's Swarm because I can.  A steady stream of 4'11" warriors has no 
place in this fine city, especially when I never see the Dark One send anyone night 
fighting.  Anyway, I am challenging some stupid bug warrior...  Not, mind you, because 
I expect to win; but, rather, because when he beats me, he'll become Duelmaster and 
have a healthy dose of those sweet political points, which should accelerate his 
worthless ass out of this city.  *taps head*  I'm always thinking like that.

A belated welcome to Tripwire, at least I think he's the Wolf teams. A nod of 
acknowledgement, and no more, to Lords of Doom as a fellow long time resident of 
Murska but alliance politics being what they are, we'll just leave it at that.

In theory, I have 8 more fights until my invite.  Who knows what those may bring?

We keep poking Vlad to choose our next two guildmates but he has, apparently, been a 
bit busy with other things.

This town needs a spymaster.

                                      SPY REPORT

     If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of 
MURSKA brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too.  Of course, we're all terribly 
impressed to see HINDERED SPROUT win a fight and gain 21 points, terribly.  Tsk, tsk, 
ZERRAVIA beat POOKIE and POOKIE lost 10 points.  You're breakin' my heart.  And if 
variety is the spice of life, MURSKA may be getting bland, as ORI OF SMALLCLIFF stays 
top dog in the city.  Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you 
think some of these guys win their fights?  Skill?  Ha!   
     My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start 
talking.' I loved that woman.  OF WOLF & MAN, I suppose you'll be glad to know you 
were this turn's most avoided team.  Care to know who is the most afraid of you?  And 
it looks like SUPREME DEATH avoided them the most this turn.  What a pack of would be 
losers, if you ask me.  Hmph.  Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, POOKIE was this turn's 
most challenged warrior.  Watch that ego swell, sports fans.  I guess I can give a 
little credit to SPARTACUS of SUPREME DEATH for challenging up by 21 to BARTHOLOMEW 
SILLS.  SPARTACUS lost to get 62 points of recognition.   
     Death and Taxes.  The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience.  Let's 
see if anyone's dead or dying.  And what a stunning loss we have here, boys and 
girls, REAPER GRAVEQUAKE of PHILANTHROPISTS 3 has added the final loss to his 5-4-1.  
Tee hee!  Seriously now, is it really honorable for INGIVAR from OF WOLF & MAN to 
kill REAPER GRAVEQUAKE and give PHILANTHROPISTS 3 the chance to bloodfeud?  Mmmm, 
could be.  Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is developing 
these kinds of weapons?   
     What does the MURSKA arena have in common with the inns?  It's just as 
comfortable to sleep in either place.  Ha ha ha ha!  Well, I've had enough of this 
drivel, and I'm sure you have too.  Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather.  Glad
