So, this was it.
The long-awaited showdown with Undead Cat Woman.

The "fearless" survivor of Death's Army finally slithered into the sand.
And what did Kati-Tei get for it?

Two attacks in the first minute.
A crowd that booed, jeered, and hissed louder than the blades sang.
A fight so dull that even the sand yawned.

This wasn't a duel. It was a funeral with footwork.

I came to Kati-Tei for blood, not boredom.
Death's Army finally shows its face, and that's all you can give me?
No challenge, no fury, no death worth remembering.

I told you before-this isn't an arena anymore.
It's a graveyard, and the only one still moving is me.

You think you "survived" me, Cat Woman?
No. You were spared. Because I was bored. Because ending you would've taken less 
effort than brushing dust off my blade.

I'm coming for you again, let's see if your Avoid stands and we get a random matchup, 
again.  Pathetic!

The rest of you, look around.
The stands are thinning. The fights are slower. The only sound left in this place is 
me breathing-and the rest of you praying I don't call your name.

So, here's my promise:
Until someone worth killing steps up, I'll keep showing up.
Not for glory, not for titles-just to remind you what a real fighter looks like.

And when I finally walk away, the silence will stay behind.
Because nothing else in Kati-Tei has any life left to give.

                                      SPY REPORT

     Welcome KATI-TEI.  I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well.  Many the fights 
have I fought here.  The celebrations, the disappointments...  What's with 
LANDSCAPER?  He actually beat THE LOSERS' DUSTMITE, and walked away with 11 more 
points from the fight.  Laughs were big at CONSTRUCTION while they watched LANDSCAPER 
clobber DUSTMITE.  He lost 7 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the 
stands.  NOBLE ASSASSIN was reminded on the sands why JARCK MYSIR is Duelmaster.  
Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to practice on?  I hear some team is 
looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.   
     Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges...  The most avoided team 
was NEON MYSTICS.  In my day, no team with a 27-35-0 would scare me off!  What's the 
problem, NAWLINS RU2?  How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged 
warrior, FRENCH QTR.!  Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you.  
VARKHUL expects the easy win by going 27 points down.  FRENCH QTR. will find this a 
hard lesson!  VARKHUL left the match looking worse than when he went in, after FRENCH 
QTR., with a 0-1-0, walked all over him.   
     There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit.  Do you want the fighters 
to walk away, or not?  And this week the Duelmaster--whoops!  NAWLINS RU2 has one 
week left to avenge MARDI GRAS' death by excessive hits on the part of JARCK MYSIR of 
KILLERS.  Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor.  You young 
rapscallions, take note!   
     Who knows what the future holds for a warrior.  More fights, there's no doubt.  
All work and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter.  Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.
